Jonathan is the Lead Pastor of Forefront Church in Brooklyn, New York. In 2017, a New York Times article titled Faith and Family, in Transition chronicled Forefront’s move towards becoming an open and affirming church and Jonathan’s journey of reconciliation with his father. He’s also written extensively on modern spirituality on Huffington Post.

During his time at Forefront, Jonathan has shed new light on a variety of spiritual topics, including Restorative Justice, Forgiveness of Sin, and The Resurrection.
